The engagement model
Simple by design. Powerful by default.
No lengthy RFPs. No onboarding theater. GoDataPod is built to be operational from week one — embedded in your tools, aligned to your priorities, and delivering from day one.
Discovery & alignment
We learn your business before we touch your data.
Your pod starts with a structured discovery sprint. We map your current data stack, interview key stakeholders, and document the decisions your leadership team needs to make — and can't make confidently today. The output is a prioritized data roadmap aligned to your business objectives.
What happens
- Stakeholder interviews across Finance, Ops, and leadership
- Current-state audit of your ERP, financial systems, and data tools
- Prioritized data roadmap with 30/60/90-day milestones
- Access provisioning and environment setup
Embed & integrate
We join your team, not just your project.
Your pod joins your Slack, attends your standups, and operates inside your existing workflows. We connect your source systems, build the foundational data infrastructure, and establish the governance layer that makes everything downstream reliable.
What happens
- Source system connections (ERP, CRM, HRIS, financial platforms)
- Data warehouse setup and schema design
- Core pipeline builds with automated monitoring
- First dashboards delivered for stakeholder review
Unify & deliver
One source of truth. Delivered on a cadence.
With the foundation in place, your pod shifts to delivery mode. Monthly sprints produce new dashboards, financial models, and analytical capabilities — all grounded in the same unified data layer. Your leadership team gets the visibility they need. Your pod keeps it running.
What happens
- Monthly delivery cadence with sprint reviews
- Ongoing pipeline maintenance and data quality monitoring
- FP&A models updated with each close cycle
- Continuous roadmap refinement as business needs evolve
Scale & evolve
Your data function grows with your business.
As your business scales, your pod scales with it. New systems, new markets, new reporting requirements — your pod adapts without the overhead of recruiting, onboarding, or managing additional headcount. One subscription. Continuous capability.
What happens
- New source system integrations as your stack evolves
- Advanced analytics and predictive modeling
- Expanded self-serve capabilities for your internal team
- Quarterly business reviews with strategic recommendations
Common questions
What people ask before they sign.
How quickly can we get started?
Most pods are operational within 5 business days of contract signing. Discovery begins in week one, and the first deliverables typically land within 14 days.
Do we need to have our data infrastructure already in place?
No. Many of our clients come to us with fragmented systems and no warehouse. Building that foundation is exactly what your Data Engineer does in the first month.
What tools and platforms do you work with?
We work with your existing stack — not ours. Common ERP platforms include NetSuite, SAP, and Dynamics. For warehousing we support Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Databricks. BI tools include Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Metabase.
What if our needs change month to month?
That's the point of the pod model. Your monthly roadmap is reprioritized each sprint based on what your business needs right now — not locked into a project scope defined six months ago.
Is there a minimum commitment?
We ask for a 3-month initial term to ensure we can deliver meaningful infrastructure and results. After that, the engagement is month-to-month.
